Get up close to birds like never before! Join me for a full morning ringing session, where you’ll get to immerse yourself in the world of birds and their study. Learn all about bird ringing, why it’s so important and what it tells us about the lives of the birds around us. You’ll see birds up close like never before, some you’ll be more familiar with, and others that might be new to you! You’ll also be taught how to safely handle and release the birds after they’ve been ringed, measured and weighed!
Location: Sessions will take place in different locations depending on on time of year and weather conditions, however sites are all within 10 minutes driving distance of the town of Worksop. The exact location to meet will be given closer the date.
Time: Sessions begin at dawn and will last until midday. The exact meeting time will be given closer to the date.
Price: £60
Please note that most locations have no toilet facilities, but that they are available within short driving distance after 10am.

- Places are limited to 6 people per session. The event will last for an entire morning.
- This is an outdoor event that is completely open to the weather. In the case of extreme conditions, the walks may be cancelled in order to maintain a high-quality experience. If this is the case you will be contacted about refunds or rebooking.
- Please check the forecast before visiting and dress accordingly. Sturdy footwear is always recommended.
