1.0 General
1.1 We reserve the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this page. Please review the Terms and Conditions prior to booking an event or placing an order. By booking an event, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 The Terms and Conditions set out below constitute the agreement between you (the client) and us (JackBaddams.com).
1.3 We will make every effort to provide you details for events. Information will be sent to you via your booking email address prior to your event date. We try to ensure the information on this website is accurate at time of publishing; however, the content is not guaranteed. We disclaim all liability for injury, loss or damage arising from inaccuracies, omissions or interpretation of contents. If you believe any content to be inaccurate please contact us via email at info@jackbaddams.com and we will endeavour to correct it as soon as possible.
2.0 Payments and Bookings
2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full payment has been received successfully.
2.2 We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
2.3 We require full payment on booking/ordering. If payment fails, bookings will not be made until an alternative payment option has been submitted. If there are any changes to your details that may affect your booking, then please contact info@jackbaddams.com.
2.4 Prices are as stated at the time of booking. We reserve the right to amend prices for future events, but confirmed bookings will not be subject to price increases.
2.5 Bookings are non-transferable to other dates or participants without our prior written consent.
2.6 It is very important that you read any further details sent to you by email, as this may include important information related to your event such as meeting locations or advice on what to bring.
3.0 Refunds, Changes & Cancellations

3.1 In an instance that an event is cancelled by us, a full refund will be paid to you or you will be given the option to book on another event of the same value. The risk of events being cancelled due to weather is made clear on the information for each event. No further liability will be accepted by us for any additional plans or bookings you may have made around an event of ours.
3.2 On outdoor tours in particular, local weather or a host of other uncontrollable factors can mean a change in itinerary. Although we always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations, we reserve the right to amend the meeting place and/or details of a event to ensure the best quality experience. If you have left contact details with your booking, then you will be informed of any changes by email or phone.
Cancellation or Changes by You
3.3 You may cancel your booking at any time; however refunds will only be issued if the notification of cancellation comes no later than 28 days prior to the event taking place.
3.4 You may request a transfer of your booking to another event of the same value if there are available spaces. This must be done no later than 28 days before the event taking place.
3.5 Please inform us at the earliest opportunity if you are not able to attend an event by emailing info@jackbaddams.com.
4.0 Health, Fitness and Accessibility
4.1 You are responsible for ensuring that you and any participants in your party are fit and able to take part in the event booked. Event difficulty levels and terrain information are provided in the event description.
4.2 If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your participation in an event (e.g. heart condition, asthma, epilepsy, allergy etc.) please tell us before you confirm your booking so that we can advise on the suitability of the chosen arrangements. If we reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we must reserve the right to decline their reservation or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, cancel when we become aware of these details. We accept no responsibility for anything that may happen on our events as a result of non-disclosed medical issues or disabilities.
5.0 Special Requests
5.1 If you have any special requests, please inform us prior to departure using info@jackbaddams.com. We will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee that such requests will be met. Furthermore, we have no liability to you if such requests are not met.
6.0 Safety & Conduct
6.1 You agree to follow all instructions given by the event leader at all times. The event leader’s decision on all safety and conduct matters is final.
6.2 Participants must behave in a manner that is respectful to other participants, wildlife, habitats, and the local environment. Behaviour that disturbs nesting or roosting birds, damages vegetation, or causes harm to wildlife is strictly prohibited.
6.3 When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party to any equipment used during our events. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid within 28 days of your event taking place. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made as a result of your actions.
6.4 Our events are non-smoking/non-vaping events. Please refrain from smoking or vaping during the time you are with us.
6.5 If, in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any other person in authority, you or any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause, or be likely to cause, danger, upset or distress to any third party or damage to property, flora or fauna, we are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate the event participation of the person(s) concerned. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the event immediately without refund. We will have no further responsibility toward such person(s).
8.0 Liability
8.1 We take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our events. However, outdoor activities carry inherent risks, and you participate at your own risk.
8.2 We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
8.3 Subject to clause 8.2, we shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or additional expense suffered by you or any participant, whether arising from cancellation, changes to the event, adverse weather, unsuitable terrain, wildlife encounters, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control.
8.4 Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking.
9.0 Photography and media
9.1 Photography and video recording for personal use is welcome on our events.
9.2 We may take photographs or video during events for use in our promotional materials, social media, and website. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us at the start of the event or by email beforehand.
9.3 You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use any photographs or video you share with us, or tag us in, for promotional purposes. We will always credit you where possible.
10. Personal Data
10.1 We collect and process personal data provided during booking solely for the purpose of administering your booking and communicating with you about the event.
10.2 We will not share your personal data with third parties except where required by law or where necessary to deliver the event (e.g. a partner landowner requiring visitor details).

11. Complaints
11.1 If you have a complaint about an event , please raise it with the eventleader at the time where possible, or contact us in writing within 14 days of the event taking place.
11.2 We will endeavour to respond to all complaints within 14 days of receipt.
12. General
12.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to your Booking and supersede any previous agreements, representations, or understandings.
12.2 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
12.3 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12.4 We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect from the date of publication and will apply to new Bookings made after that date.
